My neighbor leaves her dogs out over night when she goes out of town. Whoever takes care of them puts food outside for them. You guessed it, they are visited by opossums and raccoons, and bark their fool heads off. Now we are all awake. I know this is California, but it still gets cold at night. Don’t neglect your dog! Take it for a walk sometimes! Provide shelter when you go out of town! You really should not own a dog at all.
