With only 18 days to go until Festivus, an annual holiday mostly celebrated by Seinfeld fans, there are signs that Festivus is nigh.<\/p>\n

Clearly the pandemic is not stopping people from recognizing the holiday, even considering it was based on a Seinfeld episode released in 1997. The truth is, Festivus gives people a chance to forget the stress of these times, and have a bit of fun.<\/p>\n

Festivus poles are up<\/h2>\n

In Kingston, New York, Chris Cagnone keeps his baseball themed den, “Cags Dugout,” decorated with Yankees memorabilia. But every Festivus, a tall aluminum pole takes center stage. Probably appropriate, because sports fans typically have many grievances to air. Have a happy Festivus Chris!<\/p>\n

Teleworking with soup and Festivus<\/h2>\n

Tom Budzyna reported that his soup now comes with a mini-Festivus pole, as presented by his chimpanzee butler Winston. Weird… but then, so is Festivus. Happy Festivus Tom!<\/p>
