There is exactly two weeks until Festivus! While checking on Facebook and Twitter there are plenty of people getting into the Festivus spirit. Many poles are being erected, and the strength-to-weight ratio of each pole seems to be satisfactory. Have a look below and see what we’ve discovered!
Jim Eiseman seems to have found a whole cache of Festivus Poles hiding at what looks like Home Depot. Good Job. The Strength to weight ratio of these babies seems to be above standard.
Paul Tucker posted a photo to I Celebrate Festivus‘s timeline showing the Festivus Banner and Pole at the square in Dillsburg, Pennsylvania. Plenty of Festivus Spirit in the Penn State!
The grievances are piling up at Little Jerry’s in Tacoma, Washington. Head on down there and put your grievance on the pole!
From Twitter user GrafixJoker, very nice! We know you don’t normally put lights on a Festivus Pole, but the catnip infused cat seems to love it and that’s really all that matters.
Randene reports that there is a Festivus Pole in the Nova Scotia Community College Waterfront Campus. It’s beautiful!
Posted to I Celebrate Festivus by Robin Clark: “Our Festivus pole is up! It’s real and it’s spectacular!” — Does a Festivus Pole have the strength-to-weight ratio required to protect against large desert spiders? I would think so.
Lastly, @BeerDudePhil posted that the 8th Street Ale Haus in Sheboygan, WI is putting up their Festivus Pole this Saturday. Who’s going?
I’m sorry that the desk-sized Festivus pole, a pic of which I posted to your Facebook page, was unworthy of including here. I guess I will have to find a pole with higher strength to weight ratio for next year.

Tweet a picture of your pole to @festivusweb I’ll do my best!
PS. I found your post to Facebook. Your pole will be in an upcoming blog post. Thanks!
