Festivus Miracles are all around us

With Festivus happening in less than 48-hours Festivus Miracles are happening all around us.

Look for Festivus Miracles to appear in people’s lives every year around Festivus-time. Usually the appearances are just as lame and as forced as Kramer’s miracles, however, when people use the phrase “It’s a Festivus Miracle” just about anything may seem special. So, we tend to use it often!

What will animal-shelter kitties do for Festivus? Have a Festivus Party of course. It’s another Festivus Miracle!

Tail Town Cats of Pasadena will spotlight six adorable adoptable cats as they climb a Festivus pole; viewers at home can watch live. The hopes are to interest folks into adopting an adorable adoptable feline.

Festivus brings a fun and close-to-home chance for humans of all ages to “meow” with the charming cats of Tail Town as we celebrate the season. Popularized in the nineties, Festivus originated in the mid-sixties and true to Seinfeld-era holiday traditions, each of the six Tail Town honorees will air their individual grievances, attempt to climb the Festivus pole and perform feats of strength during a short livestream on Friday, Dec. 23, aired direct from Tail Town!

The official Seinfeld social media sites are promoting a petition to make Seinfeld a national holiday in the United States. Actually, there has been similar petitions in the past. Maybe this time it will make it through? That would be another Festivus Miracle.

A working pole

Seen on I Celebrate Festivus, Dave McWhorter has an unadorned Festivus Pole at his desk. It keeps him working, with less distractions than a Christmas tree. Another Festivus Miracle. Happy Festivus Dave!
